In 1983 Alberto Bali created the first contemporary poster for Willi's. I asked Alberto to do this 1999 edition for us, going full circle in the series, which then contained 15 Posters, thus starting a new chapter. "Bouclé la boucle" said Alberto.

The image purveys a strong element of promise for the future in a newborn wine; the hint of mystery surrounding the pleasure from a first taste of the vintage, and something of the very personal nature of wine enjoyment. Printed by Lyvia Aldobrandi, one of the few remaining traditional printers in Paris.
